Supporting Children of Incarcerated Parents

The Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth (OCCY) is committed to improving the lives of children with incarcerated parents. Our goal is to ensure every child impacted by incarceration has access to resources, support, and a brighter future.

Our efforts include:

  • Coordinating research and collecting data
  • Developing an educational toolkit on available services
  • Bringing together agencies and service providers through an advisory committee
  • Providing continuing professional education and training
  • Funding the Oklahoma Mentoring Children of Incarcerated Parents Program
