Dear Counsel,
This is an official advisement regarding the above-referenced complaint (“Complaint”) submitted to this office pursuant to 51 O.S.Supp.2025, § 24A.40. The Public Access Counselor (“PAC”) received the Complaint on December 4, 2025 from Shana Atkins, a private citizen. The Complaint alleges that Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority (“CIEDA”) did not respond to Ms. Atkins’ request under the Open Records Act for certain documentation related to electronic communications and purchase agreements she filed with CIEDA.
Per the terms of 51 O.S.Supp.2025, § 24A.40(F), I conducted an initial review and determined the Complaint warranted a response from CIEDA. Through CIEDA’s counsel, I was advised that on December 23, 2025 CIEDA released to Ms. Atkins all records that she requested. Ms. Atkins has acknowledged receiving the records and that the link providing access to these records was recently renewed.
Based on the foregoing, it appears to me that CIEDA has made a good faith effort to comply with Ms. Atkins’ request for records. Under 51 O.S.Supp.2025, § 24A.40(G), no further response is required.
