Dear Executive Director Hanska:

This office has received your request for a written Attorney General Opinion regarding action that the Board of Governors of the Licensed Architects, Landscape Architects and Registered Commercial Interior Designers (“Board”) intends to take with respect to Case No. 2025-747.

Pursuant to Executive Order 2023-13, Boards need not submit for review proposed actions that do not carry antitrust implications, such as “(iv) actions that impose only a fine or a requirement for additional education, and (v) actions that do not affect the status of the license” OAC 1:2023-13. Because the proposed action does not affect the status of a license, and because Respondent is not licensed, no review by the office is necessary.
