Multi-County Grand Jury indicts Tulsa man on human trafficking and child sexual abuse charges
OKLAHOMA CITY (June 18, 2026) – The Multi-County Grand Jury has indicted a Tulsa man accused of trafficking multiple victims for commercial sex, including three minors, and distributing child sexual abuse material.
Jiray Jivar Clay, 27, faces 10 felony charges involving four separate victims, including three juveniles between the ages of 16 and 17. The indictment charges Clay with four counts of Human Trafficking for Commercial Sex, one count of Solicitation of a Minor, two counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material, two counts of Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material and one count of Using a Computer to Violate Oklahoma Statutes.
Investigators with the Tulsa Police Department Human Trafficking-Vice Unit began investigating Clay in January 2025 after his name appeared in multiple reports involving commercial sex. According to investigators, a forensic examination of Clay's cellphone revealed months of communications targeting young females, both juvenile and adult, grooming them and arranging commercial sex encounters with buyers who responded to online advertisements he allegedly posted. The text messages indicated Clay coordinated the times, locations and rates for the commercial sex acts and provided photographs to prospective buyers, including images depicting child sexual abuse material.
“Human trafficking is modern-day slavery, and the exploitation of children for profit is among the most disturbing crimes imaginable,” Attorney General Gentner Drummond said. “We will continue working alongside our law enforcement partners to find traffickers, rescue victims and hold offenders fully accountable.”
Every person arrested or charged is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
