Friday, January 23, 2026

OKLAHOMA CITY (Jan. 23, 2026) – Attorney General Gentner Drummond today praised the rapid response by President Trump's administration following the arrest of a McLoud resident accused of threatening to kill federal immigration agents.

“I commend President Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel for their decisive action to protect our law enforcement officers,” Drummond said. “These agents deserve our unwavering support, not threats against their lives. The swift arrest of this individual sends a clear message: threats against the brave men and women who risk their lives to keep our communities safe will not be tolerated in Oklahoma or anywhere in America.

“My office has offered any resources or assistance needed to ensure this person faces the full consequences of his alleged actions. We will work hand-in-hand with our federal partners to hold accountable anyone who threatens violence against law enforcement officers in our state.”
