OKLAHOMA CITY (Feb. 12, 2026) – Attorney General Gentner Drummond made the following remarks today after the execution of Kendrick Simpson at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester.
"Justice has been served for Glen Palmer and Anthony Jones. Their young lives were taken tragically and far too soon. I hope today brings some measure of peace to their families who have endured unimaginable pain for the past 20 years."
Simpson was sentenced to death for the brutal 2006 drive-by murders of Palmer, who was 20-years-old, and Jones, who was 19, in Oklahoma City.
