Multi-County Grand Jury indicts two for Pottawatomie County marijuana burglary
OKLAHOMA CITY (March 31, 2025) — The Multi-County Grand Jury has indicted two men for burglarizing the CannaBrother Farm medical marijuana grow facility last September in Shawnee. Zion Isaiah Edwards, 21, and Emmanuel Leon Turner, 19, face multiple felony counts for breaking into the facility and stealing packages of processed marijuana.
Edwards and Turner are accused of using a pry bar to break into a storage building at the farm and stealing more than 25 pounds of marijuana before fleeing the scene. Edwards then allegedly eluded a county sheriff peace officer, failing to stop as directed near Hazel Dell Road and U.S. Highway 177 in Pottawatomie County.
Attorney General Gentner Drummond said his Organized Crime Task Force and its partner agencies continue to crack down on organized criminal activity across the state.
“We are committed to apprehending dangerous criminals, driving bad actors out of Oklahoma and enhancing public safety,” he said.
Edwards and Turner are charged with conspiracy to commit burglary in the second degree, second-degree burglary and trafficking a controlled dangerous substance. Turner is charged with using a firearm in the commission of a felony and Edwards is charged with endangering others while eluding a peace officer.
Every person arrested or indicted is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
