OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 1, 2025) – A woman suspected of arson and firing a weapon into an in-home daycare is the latest addition to Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s 10 Most Wanted list. The initiative is designed to enlist the public’s help apprehending fugitives from the law.
Alexis Elizabeth Jean Blackmon, 39, faces charges in Tulsa stemming from a July 19, 2024, incident in which she allegedly started an arson fire in her home. Investigators also allege Blackmon fired a weapon into a nearby home serving as a daycare center. Twelve individuals, most of whom were children, were present at the time of the gunfire.
In 2008, Blackmon was sentenced to 38 months in a Kansas prison for second-degree murder.
Drummond said his office is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that can directly lead to Blackmon’s arrest.
“This individual should be considered armed and dangerous. By adding her to this high-profile list, we urge anyone who has information about Ms. Blackmon’s whereabouts to come forward,” Drummond said. “She is a threat to public safety and needs to be brought to justice.”
The 10 Most Wanted program began in September 2024 to spotlight violent fugitives and encourage public assistance in bringing them to justice. Sixteen fugitives have been captured since the program’s launch. Learn more at the Attorney General's 10 Most Wanted page.
