Drummond announces capture of alleged kidnapper on 10 Most Wanted list

Tuesday, December 09, 2025

OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 9, 2025) – Attorney General Gentner Drummond announced today that authorities have arrested an alleged kidnapper on his office’s 10 Most Wanted list. The U.S. Marshals Metro Fugitive Task Force (MFTF) of the Western District of Oklahoma apprehended Carlos Uribe yesterday morning in southeast Oklahoma City.

Uribe, 27, was wanted for a kidnapping in Cleveland County. Drummond added him to the 10 Most Wanted list last month, which resulted in public information that helped lead to his capture.

Drummond said this arrest highlights the successful partnership between the U.S. Marshals and his agency. The Office of the Attorney General has been a full-time member of the MFTF since 2022.

“The 10 Most Wanted program has been an effective way for the public to play a part in getting dangerous criminals off the street,” Drummond said. “I appreciate the work of the MFTF and the agents of the Attorney General’s Office in their apprehending this fugitive from justice.”

The Attorney General’s sentiments were echoed by Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Callen Stephens.

“The U.S. Marshals Service appreciates the partnership with the AG’s Office in making our community a safer place to live,” said Stephens.

Moore police responded to a domestic disturbance on July 14, 2024, where a female victim told officers that Uribe had ignored her requests to leave her apartment, pushed her into a bedroom and physically prevented her from leaving. At that time, officers noted that the victim had visible injuries they later determined were from a previous altercation with Uribe, who already faced two charges of domestic assault and battery against a pregnant woman.

The 10 Most Wanted list began in September 2024 to spotlight violent fugitives and enlist the public’s help in bringing them to justice. Seventeen fugitives accused of crimes such as murder, rape and drug trafficking have been captured since the program’s launch. Learn more at the Attorney General's 10 Most Wanted page.
