This month my office launched a new campaign to help capture some of Oklahoma’s most wanted fugitives from justice. Easily accessible on the Attorney General’s website at Oklahoma.gov/oag, this 10 Most Wanted list is created to assist the incredible work of our partners in the U.S. Marshals Service and other federal, tribal, state, county and local law enforcement agencies. It is vital that the individuals on this list – all of whom pose serious threats to public safety – be held accountable for their alleged crimes.
Within just 30 hours of our Sept. 25 launch, we began seeing the results of engaging Oklahomans in this endeavor. Wenfred Louis Davis, who was wanted in Cotton County for trafficking fentanyl and for possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia, was located Sept. 26 in Louisiana and currently is in custody.
I hope to enlist the help of all Oklahomans in this campaign to get these dangerous criminals off the street. In some cases, financial rewards ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 are offered for anyone who can provide information directly leading to the arrest of a fugitive on the Most Wanted list. These men and women are wanted for murder, sex crimes, assault, drug trafficking, robbery and other serious offenses. Several of these fugitives should be considered armed and dangerous.
Those remaining on the initial list include:
- Alfonso Mondragon – Wanted for the 2004 murder of his girlfriend in Mayes County.
- Andrew Patrick Johnson – Wanted for rape in Kay County when the victim was 15 years old.
- Juan Jose Rivera-Pena – Wanted for child molestation that allegedly occurred in Oklahoma County.
- Jose D. Cuellar-Becerra – Wanted for a range of horrific crimes in Garfield County, including aggravated domestic assault, kidnapping, arson, drug trafficking and possession of a firearm in commission of a felony.
- Keith Alan Grimes – Wanted for domestic assault and battery by strangulation in Muskogee County.
- Rodolfo Jaime Gonzalez – Wanted for two counts of lewd acts with a minor in Oklahoma County.
- Jonathan Adrian Baez-Perez – Wanted in Garfield County for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction and larceny of a vehicle.
- Virginia Alice Hubbard –Wanted in Tulsa County for neglect and financial exploitation by a caretaker.
- Melvin Joe Stevenson – Wanted in Cotton County for trafficking illegal drugs-methamphetamine and larceny of merchandise from a retailer.
The Most Wanted list will be updated periodically as fugitives are captured and as other criminals pose new threats to public safety.
