In 2020, the Oklahoma Legislature created the Opioid Abatement Board to manage opioid settlement funds and support efforts to combat the crisis. Grants fund treatment, recovery, mental health services, education, prevention, and supply reduction. The board, including the Attorney General and state appointees, rigorously reviews applications.
