How to Submit Documents, Forms and Publications

House Bill 1086 (2011), also known as the Transparency, Accountability, and Innovation in Oklahoma State Government 2.0 Act of 2011, requires state entities to submit their documents in a searchable electronic format so they may be maintained on a website, which allows public access. All publications are required by law to be submitted to either the Oklahoma Publications Clearinghouse of the Department of Libraries, the Governor, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, or the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. Documents and publications must be uploaded to the Documents.OK.Gov site.

Read the Documents.Ok.Gov governing processes document (PDF).

Publications Officers

If you are a Publications Officer or in charge of Publications in your agency, please read the Publications Officer Manual (PDF) to learn how to submit your publications, find out what is considered a publication, exemptions, wording of cost statements and other guidelines.

State law now requires that state agencies, boards and commissions upload publications and forms to a centralized repository accessible to the citizens of Oklahoma. Contact the Clearinghouse for further information.

In addition to regularly submitting your publications to us, state agencies are required to provide a comprehensive list of their publications from the previous year. This list is due by January 31. Download the form now.
