Public Library Academy Certification Classes

The Spring 2025 Public Library Academy classes are now open for registration. 

All registrations will be processed online using Eventbrite. This system allows you to verify you are registered. You will be notified by e-mail if a class has been cancelled. If any classes are full, you will be able to place your name on a waiting list if you register with an email address. 

Please register early to reserve your spot.  

Classes are open to staff in public and tribal libraries in Oklahoma.

This training is open to anyone and will outline the basic appeals of the major genres, providing you with talking points to help customers find new reads in their favorite genre.

Last year's webinar on Trauma-Informed Librarianship will be available on Niche Academy until April 19th. Individuals seeking initial certification only need to watch one Current Trends in Libraries webinar.
