A community-based voluntary
family resource program offering
home visits by Public Health
Nurses to families expecting to
deliver and/or parent their first child.
Services include:
- Health assessments for mother and baby
- Pregnancy/Parenting education
- Nutritional education
- Home safety education
- General health education
- Resource referrals
Home visitation services are provided at no cost to the family. Moms must be less than 29 weeks gestation and meet WIC/Medicaid income guidelines to qualify for the program.
