Walters encouraged by new teachers support group
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Today, the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) revives its commitment to uplifting educators through ongoing teacher signing bonuses, strengthened by the inception of the Teacher Freedom Alliance (TFA). This new group represents a critical step toward recognizing and rewarding the most talented teachers, reflecting Oklahoma’s determination to improve educational outcomes and invest in the future of its students.
"Oklahoma’s teachers work tirelessly to inspire and educate the next generation, it’s time that we have a support organization that actually supports teachers,” said Superintendent Walters. "With the formation of the Teacher Freedom Alliance, we will have a partner in the fight to reward educators who go above and beyond.”
