Superintendent Walters headlines InspireOK Conference with a keynote discussion with Dr. Jamie Polk

Hundreds of educators from around the state to attend one of the biggest teacher conferences of the year 

Oklahoma City, OK – Ryan Walters and nationally recognized education expert Dr. Jamie Polk headlined the InspireOK, Oklahoma’s premier professional development conference for certified teachers and paraprofessionals.

“It is such an honor to join Dr. Polk onstage to talk about how Oklahoma is leading in education and specifically how OKCPS is a model for success. Districts across the country will follow OKCPS’s model of ensuring student success by empowering teachers," said Walters.

OKCPS is one of the largest districts in the state participating in the Teacher Empowerment Program. The Teacher Empowerment Program gives teachers the ability to make six figures while remaining in the classroom. Oklahoma is the only state that provides this type of free market incentive for its teachers.

The conference featured a robust schedule of breakout sessions, innovative workshops, and hands-on training led by education leaders and practitioners. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with fellow educators and education-focused organizations, fostering a strong network of collaboration and shared learning.
