Director of Finance

The Director of Finance directs the accounting, procurement, and grants management staff, prepares the annual agency budget, reviews and analyzes financial performance, and provides regular reports to the Executive Director and Board of Directors. The Director of Finance directs and oversees account reconciliation, statement preparation, account monitoring, report preparation, financial assistance, budget assistance, and quality assurance. The Director of Finance serves as the primary point of contact at TSET for the annual audit of the Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust Fund’s investments and expenditures.

Human Resources/Operations Manager

Under the direction of the Chief of Staff, the Human Resources/Operations Manager is responsible for operations, office management and human resources initiatives for TSET. The HR/Ops Manger position leads human resources efforts for the agency and acts as a human resources liaison between the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) Human Capital Management (HCM) and the agency to provide support to agency employees for benefits, payroll, recruiting, and employee relations needs. The HR/Ops Manager directs the agency receptionist/admin, ensuring effective and efficient office operations.

Grants Manager

The Grants Manager supports the administration and management of a growing portfolio of grants to organizations across the state. This position works with the Director of Grants Management to facilitate quality service delivery to grantees through the application of sound grants management planning, implementation, budgeting, monitoring, closeout, and evaluation. In addition, the Grants Manager is responsible for working with the entire TSET team to cultivate and sustain positive relationships with all grantees and partners.

Accountant I

Under the direction of the Director of Finance and working closely with the senior accountant, the Accountant I will primarily be responsible for performing routine entry level tasks involving the maintenance of financial information, reviewing and processing routine vouchers and invoices for payment, preparation of routine or standardized accounting reports and financial statements and the reconciliation of simple accounting transactions, preparing purchase orders and change orders, and other similar activities.

Policy and Legislative Intern

The Policy and Legislative Intern will be responsible for coordinating and analyzing policy and legislative related information that supports the strategic goals of TSET to change behavior and policy to reduce the leading cause of preventable death in Oklahoma and improve the health of Oklahomans. This intern position will assist the Policy Manager and work under the direction of the Director of Public Information and Government Affairs.

The intern will assist with tracking bills, committee hearings, and floor work of the state legislature, compiling reports, legislative correspondence, scheduling meetings and external stakeholder outreach.
