Reemployment Service & Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Program
The Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program provides reemployment assistance to Unemployment Insurance (UI) claimants who may not be able to return to their previous occupation or industry and, as a result, may run out of unemployment benefits. Selected participants will have the opportunity to speak with a RESEA specialist to assist participants with returning to work as quickly as possible.
Individuals who are selected for this program will be notified by mail and must attend all appointments to receive unemployment benefits. Appointments are in-person, but accommodations are available. Contact the office listed on the appointment letter for accommodations or interpreter services.
Prior to attending the first appointment, selected individuals must:
- Go to okjobmatch.com, create an account and complete or upload a resume.
- Watch the RESEA Orientation video linked on this page.
If participants are unable to attend the scheduled appointment, they must contact the Oklahoma Works (OESC) office listed on their notice of eligibility letter prior to the appointment date to reschedule. A valid reason or good cause must be provided to reschedule.

Benefits of RESEA Appointments
RESEA appointment and any follow up appointments are designed to provide employment assistance and a mix of services. These services include customized resume assistance, reemployment workshops, new career and wage exploration services, interview workshops and job referrals to employers based on their experience and qualifications.
During an initial appointment, an individual will also complete a Reemployment Needs Inventory which helps determine their readiness to return to work. It evaluates their job search activity, job search skills and confidence and any barriers that may impact their chances of being hired. During this initial visit, RESEA staff will review their work history, collaborate with them to determine an employment goal and discuss customized employment opportunities within the job market.
