ODL’s State Government Digital Library provides open access to Oklahoma’s unique resources, including digital archives, documents, images, publications, recordings, reports, postcards, newspapers, and other valuable materials that span more than a century of carefully preserved records.

Oklahoma Publications

Explore Oklahoma state agency documents and publications via our digital collections on Documents.OK.Gov. ODL serves as the official depository for state agency publications. State employees can learn how to submit materials such as annual reports, MOAs, budgets, and more.

State Archives

The Oklahoma State Archives welcomes all researchers to access original, non-digital records including manuscripts, correspondence, maps, photographs, and state agency materials. Please contact Archives staff ahead of your visit so we can prepare your requested items.

State Library Catalog

Search the State Employees Library catalog for books, audiobooks, videos, and more. Even if you’re not a state employee, you can still borrow our resources through your local public library using Interlibrary Loan—just check with your library for details.

InterLibrary Loan

Want something you can't find at your library? You may be able to borrow it from another library through Interlibrary Loan. Search for books, audiobooks, videos, articles, and more from libraries around the world. Requests are placed and picked up at your local public library.

Oklahoma Collection

The Oklahoma Collection preserves rare and unique works by and about Oklahomans, showcasing the state’s history, culture, development, Native nations, and literary heritage. Items are for in-house use only and available with staff assistance.

Law Legislative Reference

The Law & Legislative Reference unit provides legal research support for government, attorneys, and the public. Resources include statutes, session laws, case reports, and legal databases, with staff available to assist with research requests.

U.S. Government Information

ODL is a selective federal depository library offering free public access to U.S. government publications—print and digital. Materials support all three branches of the federal government. Borrowing is available to state employees or via interlibrary loan for others.

Archived Government Websites

Browse the Archive-It catalog to view preserved versions of Oklahoma agency websites and other born-digital materials. Through Archive-It, website snapshots reveal how state information, programs, and online communications have changed over the years.
