Electronic Health Records (EHR)

We are upgrading to serve you better! Over the next 10 months, we will be implementing a new Electronic Health Record system to provide improved, client-centered care. The implementation will be done in phases beginning this fall.

Some of our clinics will close or reduce client volume briefly in the coming weeks (August and September) as staff train on a new Electronic Health Record system. These short closures or reductions will improve how we care for you, making visits faster, safer, and more connected.

What to Expect

Better, Faster, More Connected Care
We are transitioning to a modern Electronic Health Record system so you and your family can enjoy smoother and more coordinated healthcare. This step aligns with our agency's mission to improve the health of all Oklahomans. While a few clinics will temporarily close for training and testing, the benefits will enhance your care.

Why We Are Making This Change

  • Centralized Record Storage – Every OSDH clinic will have access to your secure, up-to-date health history. This means no matter which OSDH clinic you visit, your provider will have your complete health history, leading to safer and more informed care.
  • Greater Clinical Efficiency – Less time on paperwork means more time focused on you.
  • Modern technology is evolving quickly, enabling us to better meet the changing health needs of our communities.

What This Means for You

  • Easier access to your information – Avoid repeating the same details in different places.
  • Safer Care – Improved monitoring of medications, allergies, and lab results to minimize errors.
