Ethics Commission restores established Guardian System to ensure lawful filing, transparency, & public access.  The decision reflects the Commission’s responsibility to:

- Ensure immediate public access to campaign finance information during an active election season.

- Protect filers from compliance risks beyond their control, including no penalties for delayed filings.

- Act as a responsible steward of public funds appropriated by the Legislature.

- Avoid further delays where statutory obligations cannot be met.

The Commission will provide filing guidance and support directly to filers during this transition period.

- Generally, 3rd-Quarter Campaign Finance Reports will be due Jan. 30, while 4th-Quarter will still be due Jan. 31

The Guardian system is available immediately, allowing filers to submit reports and the public to access campaign-finance information without delay.

 Candidate, PAC and Party Committees

  • 2025 3rd Quarter Report DUE January 30th
  • 2025 4th Quarter Report DUE January 31st

2026 Special House District 35

  • 2025 3rd Quarter Report DUE January 30th
  • 2025 Pre-Primary Report DUE January 31st

Executive Only Lobbyist

  • 2025 3rd Quarter Report DUE January 14th
  • 2025 4th Quarter Report DUE January 15th

All other Lobbyist

  • 2025 July-December Report DUE January 15th

 NOTE:  All 2026 filing Due Dates will remain the same.
