Transparency and ethics are the key to making state government work for everyone. When government actions are open and clear, people can see what’s happening and make sure their leaders are doing the right thing. Good ethics help stop corruption and ensure decisions are made fairly, not just for personal benefit. By being honest and straightforward, state officials build trust and make sure that everyone has a say in how resources are utilized. In short, transparency and ethics keep the government accountable and responsive, making sure it truly serves the people.

Open Records Request
WE CAN PROCESS REQUESTS PERTAINING ONLY TO RECORDS OF THE OKLAHOMA ETHICS COMMISSION. IF YOU SEEK RECORDS FROM ANOTHER AGENCY, PLEASE DIRECT THE REQUEST TO THAT SPECIFIC AGENCY.
To make an Open Records Request please complete the online form via the linked button below. We believe this modification will improve the user experience in requesting agency records and better enable the responsiveness of the Ethics Commission to records requests.
There is still the opportunity for an Open Records Request to be submitted in other ways:
- Complete the Open Records Request Form (via hard copy or electronically)
- E-mail the completed Form to ethics@ethics.ok.gov; or
- Send the Form via mail to: Ethics Commission, 2300 N. Lincoln Blvd., Rm G-27, Oklahoma City, OK 73105.
Questions or concerns regarding open records request for the Ethics Commission should be directed to ethics@ethics.ok.gov.
Should you have other questions regarding Oklahoma's Open Government Laws including the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act (OMA) and/or the Open Records Act (ORA), the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office (OAG) has provided some helpful resources on it's website.
Do you have a FOIA request?
The Freedom of Information Act, or FOIA, applies only to federal agencies. The Oklahoma Ethics Commission is subject to the Oklahoma Open Records Act.
