The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has announced that the Do Not Ingest Water Order for Holliday Outt Mobile Home Park, located in Oklahoma County, has been suspended. Regular consumption of the water may now be resumed.

The Do Not Ingest Water Order was issued due to possible contamination related to a recent wildfire and heat damage to drinking water equipment. State and federal regulations require that customers be notified if, at any time, public drinking water is determined to be unsafe.

This was an isolated event and only affected Holliday Outt Mobile Home Park. The rest of Oklahoma County was not affected by this order.

DEQ is responsible for regulating more than 1,300 public water supplies in the State of Oklahoma. All public water supplies are required to regularly submit samples to DEQ for routine testing to ensure that water is safe for human consumption.
