Continuing Education Information

The general forms apply to all the below industries.

Reminder: Only Continuing Education courses approved by the appropriate CIB Industry Committee count toward license renewal requirements.

All courses listed in the documents below have received CIB Committee approval.

If you completed CEUs through another state agency, those courses must still be reviewed and approved by the relevant CIB Industry Committee to qualify.

How can I tell what classes are for "Electrical Apprentices" and what classes are "Other"

We designate the different kinds of electrical contiuning education credits by the "Course #" assigned to each class.

"Code Update" courses are assigned an "E" at the end of the "Course #"

"Other" Courses are assigned an "EO" at the end of the "Course #"

"Apprentice" courses are assigned an "EA" at the end of the "Course #"
