Public Safety agencies are responsible for overseeing initiatives and services to ensure the safety and security of Oklahomans. This includes disaster preparedness, crime prevention, traffic safety and coordinating responses during emergencies.

Current projects and supplier needs

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is seeking suppliers for the following projects:

  • Agencywide fiber upgrade.
  • Upgrade security cameras and video management systems (VMS) in agency correctional facilities.
  • Upgrade doors and access control systems and key control systems in agency correctional facilities.
  • Procure body scanners for agencywide use.
  • Add perimeter detection systems to correctional facilities.

Other agencies that provide public safety services to the State of Oklahoma are seeking suppliers for the following projects:

  • Build a new tactical training facility and headquarters for Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
  • Furnish and equip security cameras to new buildings.
  • Upgrade door and access control systems, VMS and fiber across all public safety agencies.
  • Add key control and perimeter detection systems to agency facilities.
  • Procure body scanners for all public safety agencies.
  • Digital advertisement, mobile ad targeting and certified translation services for a new anti-human trafficking initiative.
  • Cloud storage and indexing of closed or scanned records.
  • Business intelligence, AI and machine learning to streamline agency processes.
  • Develop an automated inventory system for quartermaster.
  • Next generation identification (NGI) and biometrics for agency use.
  • Supply sexual assault kits to agency facilities.
  • Supply crime scene and agent vehicles for the State Bureau of Investigation fleet.
