Current projects and supplier needs

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation is seeking suppliers for the following projects:

  • Shooting range development at Optima and Lexington Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs): These projects will involve significant dirt work, gravel parking, ADA-accessible paths and the construction of shooting benches and covered shooting areas.
  • Arcadia Conservation Education Area parking lot project: This project will be bid in fall 2024 and will involve converting three different gravel parking lots to paved surface areas.
  • Road improvements on Wildlife Management Areas statewide: Repair and upgrade primary access roads on WMAs statewide to facilitate all-weather access to the outdoor recreation opportunities offered on the WMAs and increase tourism in the state.

The Oklahoma Department of Tourism and Recreation is seeking suppliers for the following projects:

  • Providing resale merchandise for state parks gift shops and travel information centers.
  • Concessionaires for low-impact outdoor recreation activities at state parks, including equipment rentals and experiences.
  • Modernize our market efforts and seek additional tools to streamline agency growth.
