The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (ODAFF) will host several upcoming conferences and will need to work with suppliers to secure:
ODAFF Forestry Services: Wildfire Detection Network
To better fight wildfires in eastern Oklahoma, ODAFF Forestry Services plans to purchase and install a camera network on Oklahoma Department of Transportation communications towers. These cameras will constantly watch for signs of fire and help crews quickly respond to wildfires before they spread. The camera network will serve as a monitored wildfire suppression resource for dispatchers in Forestry Services’ local offices in Tahlequah, Wilburton and Broken Bow.
ODAFF Forestry Services: Buildout and Refurbishment of ODAFF Mobile Communications Resources
Forestry Services needs to refurbish Command 3, a mobile communications vehicle that supports wildfire and all-hazards emergency response. Mobile radio replacement, upgrades to current satellite communications, upgrade to PTO-generator and mechanical repairs are needed to ensure Command 3 is ready for response. In addition, newly purchased communications equipment needs to be installed in a gooseneck office trailer that is used at an on-scene incident command post.
