Submitting Documents to the SOS
Documents may be presented in person or delivered by mail, faxed or submitted online.
Documents presented in person may either be dropped off at no additional fee, or you may pay an additional fee in the amount of $50.00 for each document to receive Same Day Service. All other documents will be processed in the order in which they are received. Business filings delivered in person must be presented before 4:30 pm CT to be processed. Filings received after 4:30 pm CT will be processed the following business day.
Starting a New Business
Online Registration
Completing and filing of these forms creates a new Profit or Not for Profit Corporation or a Limited Liability Company.
Other Online-Filings
You may file annual certificates online for Limited Liability Companies and Limited Partnerships.
Entity Orders
An entity order allows you to order plain copies, certified copies and various types of certificates for a business entity on file with the Secretary of State.
Bulk Orders
The business Entities Bulk Order allows customer to order bulk data or order and view bulk reports.
