Continuing Education

All licensees and certified operators are required to attend at least four units of approved continuing education during each year period (from July 1 through June 30) or eight units for each two-year period of renewal. One unit must be an approved Oklahoma Rules and Regulations unit. One unit of continuing education equals fifty minutes of approved instruction. For more information on continuing education requirements, see Chapter 35 Rules.

All courses offered through the OWRB and Oklahoma Ground Water Association (OGWA) are free to attend and pre-approved for continuing education credit. Additional courses offered by other organizations may be approved for continuing education credit. Please contact the OWRB for information about specific course eligibility.
