P-card Training
OMES provides training for all new program participants.
To request P-card training, agency P-card administrators must email a registration form to pcard@omes.ok.gov for all cardholders, approvers and new administrators. The State P-card Administrator will then enroll new users in the eLearning training modules. Upon successfully completing all four modules and passing the assessment, new users will send a screenshot of their completion page to both the agency administrator and the P-card office. A minimum passing score of 90% is required, and assessment grades will be visible on the user’s Workday@OK Learning Transcript. If a user scores below the passing threshold, they must wait 24 hours before attempting the assessment again. After the user receives a passing score, the agency administrator will proceed to create the new user’s profile in Works and, if necessary, order a new P-card.
New users may also be trained internally after completion of the self-paced course. If an agency so desires, all Works-related training may be completed internally.
Works Editing classes are scheduled virtually through Microsoft Teams as needed. Please email pcard@omes.ok.gov to schedule a training. Attendees must have completed the eLearning course and passed the test provided by OMES. Cardholders must have received their card and have at least one purchase posted to Works prior to the class. Matching copies of receipts/invoices for the posted transactions must be available for the training class.
