TSET TAG strengthens local efforts to create healthier environments. Grants support evidence-based strategies that help communities increase access to physical activity, improve healthy food options and prevent youth tobacco use. By empowering local governments, tribal nations, nonprofits, K-12 schools and public entities, TSET ensures sustainable change across Oklahoma.
Categories
Supports community-based group programs that encourage movement across all ages, from walking clubs to fitness classes and recreation programs.
Reduces youth tobacco access through retailer education, local policy enforcement and earned media related to compliance check findings.
Enhances food access by improving farmers markets or food pantries, strengthening local food systems and supporting programs like SNAP and Double Up Bucks.
TAG: Nutrition will not open in FY26.
Eligibility
TSET Targeted Achievement Grants are for the following organizations:
- Local governments
- Tribal nations
- Nonprofit organizations
- K-12 Schools
- Public entities
These opportunities focus on 32 counties, listed below, that were selected based on a strong history of collaboration and community engagement. Applicants must be located in one of these counties and provide recent, community-specific data supported by local partnerships.
