Our Purpose
TSET was created by Oklahoma voters to improve the health of all Oklahomans without using tax dollars. It is a state grantmaking agency funded by investment earnings from a legal settlement between the state of Oklahoma and tobacco companies. Our grants, programs, partnerships and other funding opportunities focus on the leading causes of preventable death in Oklahoma: tobacco use and obesity. This work fulfills TSET’s duty under the Oklahoma Constitution to protect and improve public health across the state.
