TSET Board of Directors Approves Funding to Improve Health-promoting Infrastructure in 11 Communities Across Oklahoma
The Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) Board of Directors approved $1.2 million in Built Environment Grants to support 11 communities across Oklahoma. The funding will support planning and construction projects that enhance access to physical activity and healthy foods, especially in areas facing health disparities or infrastructure gaps.
“Through these grants, TSET supports local innovation and partnerships that transform neighborhoods into healthier places to live,” said Julie Bisbee, TSET executive director. “Whether it’s a walking trail, a community fitness court or a garden that supports nutrition education, these projects help Oklahomans live healthier lives.”
