OKLAHOMA CITY (February 12, 2019) The application period for the TSET Executive Director position closed on February 11 with 67 candidates applying for the job.
The TSET executive search committee will now begin reviewing applicants for consideration before the full board in March. The executive search committee is comprised of the Board Chair Bruce Benjamin, Vice Chair Michelle Stephens, and board member Casey Killblane.
“There was a strong showing from candidates interested in the position,” said TSET Board Chair Bruce Benjamin. “I am looking forward to entering into the next phase of the executive search process and ultimately selecting an executive director that will build upon the momentum TSET has created in recent years improving health outcomes for our state.”
The post opened late last year when former Executive Director John Woods took a position at the University of Oklahoma. Public Information and Outreach Director Julie Bisbee has been named Interim Executive Director until the search process is completed.
Tulsa-based Switchgear Search and Recruiting is overseeing the application process. Switchgear is an approved statewide contractor for executive search services. The projected salary range for the new executive director will align with the $100,600 to $150,900 range established through a legislative process and administered by OMES (Office of Management and Enterprise Services).
