Active Members

TRS members are employees of Oklahoma public education institutions and agencies. TRS membership is mandatory for all classified employees of participating employers of the System except for those classified employees who are members of an alternative retirement plan. Non-classified optional personnel regularly employed for more than twenty hours per week may join the System subject to certain requirements.
