Oklahoma’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was unchanged at 4.3 percent in August. The U.S. unemployment rate also remained steady at 4.1 percent in August. Over the year, the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 0.9 percentage point higher than August 2025.
