In March, Love County posted Oklahoma’s highest county unemployment rate of 6.4 percent. Carter County reported the second-highest rate for the month. Dewey and Harmon Counties reported the lowest unemployment rate of 1.7 percent in March. Unemployment rates in March were higher than a year earlier in 70 out of 77 of Oklahoma’s counties lower in four counties, and unchanged in three counties.
