Jobless Rates Down Over the Year for Most Oklahoma Counties in September

In September, Haskell County posted Oklahoma’s highest county unemployment rate of 5.6 percent. McIntosh County reported the second-highest rate for the month. Dewey County reported the lowest county unemployment rate of 1.8 percent in September. Unemployment rates in September were higher than a year earlier in 20 counties, lower in 47 counties and unchanged in 10 counties.
