If the federal Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) program is not reauthorized by Congress by January 1, 2026, the Oklahoma State Workforce Agency will continue to accept WOTC applications submitted in accordance with federal timelines. Applications received during a lapse in authorization will be retained in our system; however, eligibility determinations and certifications cannot be issued until the program is reauthorized. Employers should continue to complete required WOTC forms at the time of hire and submit applications within 28 days of the employee’s start date.

Healthcare Career, Program and College Fair - Midwest City

The Health Science College, Program, and Career Fair will take place on November 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Hosted by the Governor’s Healthcare Workforce Committee, the event will be held at the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City. Hospitals, clinics, technology centers, universities, and other health-related organizations are invited to register for a booth to highlight their employment and educational opportunities. The fair is open to students and adults who are interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field.
