If the federal Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) program is not reauthorized by Congress by January 1, 2026, the Oklahoma State Workforce Agency will continue to accept WOTC applications submitted in accordance with federal timelines. Applications received during a lapse in authorization will be retained in our system; however, eligibility determinations and certifications cannot be issued until the program is reauthorized. Employers should continue to complete required WOTC forms at the time of hire and submit applications within 28 days of the employee’s start date.

Oklahoma Aerospace Commerce Economic Services (ACES), a division of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, will host a free career fair for job seekers. Some of Oklahoma’s leading aerospace companies will host recruitment booths at the career fair to discuss open positions in the industry and provide job search tips for attendees, as well as on-the-spot interview opportunities. The FREE ACES Aerospace Career Fair is your “can’t miss” hiring event of the year! From high school students to senior engineers, there will be aerospace companies with immediate openings for every level of qualification. Participating employers include The Boeing Company, Northrop Grumman, the Federal Aviation Administration and more.
