Digital Content Sharing Policy

OESC strives to create diverse, consistent, and engaging content on its website and social media pages. In the course of providing comprehensive services and information, the OESC website may provide links to content not controlled by OESC or the State of Oklahoma. Also, OESC may at times share relevant external content that supports the mission and goals of OESC on its various social media platforms. No endorsement is intended or made of any link, product, service, or information either by its inclusion or exclusion from being shared online via OESC’s various platforms.

OESC evaluates each requested digital content, link or sharing request based upon the following criteria:

  • Resources must be currently available and relevant to OESC’s target audiences and further the mission of providing a one-stop-shop for Oklahoma citizens and employers. They must be open access and free of any charges. OESC will not promote any non-government commercial sites with paid products or services.

  • Sites linked to must be professional quality, and representative of a reputable source/entity. They must not include political affiliation sites, or sites that further the agenda of a political organization or candidate running for office.

  • Job fairs and hiring events must be slotted for a specific time and date, be free of charge for job seekers, and be open to the general public.

    • Targeted/closed job fairs and hiring events for US Military and Veterans are the only exception, but must still remain free of charge for the job seeker. These events align with the Department of Labor's mandate for Priority of Service to US Military and Veterans, and such events coincide with OESC's Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG).

  • Workshops must be free to attend, and serve the purpose of increasing an individual's ability to find and secure work. This may include topics such as resume writing, interview skills, and federal resume writing.

  • Individual job opportunities for a single employer will not be shared. For this function, we encourage employers to use our online job board at www.okjobmatch.com.

    • At times, OESC may share instances where an employer is conducting significant hiring efforts, such as for new establishments or seasonal hiring. These requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case situation, and may vary based on the current volume of requests and other events at that time. As previously noted, no endorsement is intended by the inclusion or exclusion of such content.

OESC is not responsible for the content of websites not controlled by the State of Oklahoma, nor does the state's privacy policy apply to external sites. The use of information obtained from such sites are voluntary and should be independently verified.
