OESC Launches New Employer Portal, Marking Major Technology Upgrade
OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission (OESC) has launched a new Employer Portal, delivering on its commitment to modernize technology and improve how employers do business with the State.
The portal was designed to be faster, easier to use and simpler to navigate. As such, employers now have quicker access to more complete information, smoother workflows and a more intuitive overall experience.
The new system was designed and built in response to customer service feedback and service expansion ambitions the agency has had from employer interactions over the last few years. That resulted in a less confusing and more simplified portal that highlights key processes for existing businesses and new businesses alike.
The fully digital experience is available to all employers in the State regardless of what device they use.
“This is another clear example of the technology modernization progress we promised,” said OESC CEO Trae Rahill. “We stay focused on building systems and processes that work better for Oklahoma employers, so it’s easier for them to meet their responsibilities with the State. I’m grateful to be on this team with leaders like Mark Davis, who continues to turn these lofty agency goals into realities. His teams and our agency partners are what makes these solutions possible.”
The updated portal streamlines common tasks and is part of a broader effort to modernize services and strengthen the employer experience.
“This launch is about practical, meaningful improvement,” said Mark Davis, OESC Chief Innovation Officer. “The new portal is faster, clearer and designed around how employers actually use technology.”
In 2025 alone, OESC rolled out 4 new fully functional mobile office units, EmployOklahoma statewide labor exchange, and a new claimant portal for filing and processing all the State’s unemployment insurance claims. These significant steps forward in technology modernization provide individuals with faster access to resources in more user-friendly and easier to navigate systems.
The agency has also used more plain language and clearer guidance to ensure a smoother overall experience regardless of literacy level.
By improving digital access and streamlining key processes, OESC continues to strengthen its ability to serve both employers and individuals engaging the State’s workforce system.
