Behavioral Health Case Management
Behavioral Health Case Management is a process that includes planned linkage, advocacy and referral assistance provided in partnership with a consumer, family members, law enforcement personnel, community agencies and other supports as defined by the consumer. This collaboration of services is to provide a continuum of care for persons that utilize services inclusive of, but are not limited to mental health, substance abuse, prevention or other services to support the consumer in self-sufficiency and community tenure.
Peer Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS)
The Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) fulfills a unique role in the support of and recovery from mental health issues and substance use disorders. A PRSS is a person in recovery from a mental health diagnosis and/or substance use disorder, who has been trained to work with others on their individual road to recovery.
Problem Gambling Treatment Counselor
ODMHSAS and the Oklahoma Association on Problem Gambling & Gaming (OAPGG) have worked to develop a state certification for problem gambling counselors. The certification process includes basic training, consultation calls, and clinical experience.
