| |

Ask Yourself Four Simple Questions:
| 1. |
What Am I About To Do?
Know the task and what you're about to do.
| | 2. |
What Could Hurt Me Or Someone Else?
Look for hazards, risks, and anything that could cause an injury.
| | 3. |
What Has Changed Or Isn't Right?
Pay attention to changes, unexpected conditions, or anything that doesn't look or feel right.
| | 4. |
What Can I Do To Make It Safe?
Think about what needs to be fixed, controlled, or communicated.
3. Make It Safe
If Something Isn't Right, Don't Move On.
Fix It. Control It. Or Report It.
If you can safely fix it, fix it, if you're properly trained.
| | | |
If you can't fix it, control access and inform your supervisor.
| | | |
If you can't make it safe, stop and report it.
Only continue when it is safe to do so.
| |
Don't just notice a hazard. Do something about it.
