What Is OSHA Consultation?

OSHA Consultation Services are a voluntary, no-cost program funded largely by Federal OSHA and administered by the Oklahoma Department of Labor. The program is separate from OSHA enforcement and exists for one purpose: to help employers keep workers safe and prevent injuries and fatalities.

Consultations are requested by the employer, confidential, and focused on solutions—not punishment.

Who Can Use OSHA Consultation?

  • Small businesses

  • Large employers

  • Any private-sector Oklahoma employer

While the program prioritizes small businesses, all Oklahoma employers are eligible.

Why Employers Choose OSHA Consultation

  • Identify and correct hazards before injuries happen

  • Improve compliance with OSHA standards
