Mobilization Reporting System (MRS)

The Oklahoma Highway Safety Office (OHSO) promotes several traffic safety mobilizations each year to decrease the frequency and severity of crashes and fatalities on our streets and highways, including national campaigns like Click It or Ticket and Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.

The collective focus of OHSO and all law enforcement and traffic safety offices nationwide is on awareness, education and enforcement efforts to protect the public. All statewide agencies are encouraged to participate in these national mobilizations, and OHSO law enforcement grantees are required to participate.

Click It or Ticket: Around Memorial Day Weekend

Although seat belts are proven to be one of the best ways to save a person’s life in a car crash, many people still choose to not buckle up. This national mobilization campaign focuses on safety education, strong laws and law enforcement support to save lives.

Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over: Around Labor Day Weekend and the Winter Holiday Season

Impaired driving is one of the deadliest, most common — and preventable — crimes that’s become a serious safety epidemic nationwide.

This campaign focuses on the goal of law enforcement to stop impaired drivers. The combined efforts of law enforcement and highway safety advocates like OHSO help reduce the number of crashes and fatalities due to impaired driving.
