Advisory Board
In January 2020, the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety Commissioner John Scully signed an order creating the ENDUI Oklahoma Advisory Committee. This committee, which comprises various state, local and private groups and agencies, works to build upon the important work begun by the Governor's Impaired Driving Prevention Advisory Council (GIDPAC). Its purpose is to make statewide recommendations to reduce the incidence of impaired driving crashes in Oklahoma.
With the goal of reducing the incidence of impaired driving and related crashes in Oklahoma, the committee has been authorized and empowered to:
- Collect, analyze and interpret national, state and local data on impaired driving and associated crashes
- Review, evaluate and monitor the state’s impaired driving system
- Identify best practices for combating impaired driving from international, national, tribal, state and/or local sources
- Coordinate and integrate state/local efforts and resources
- Make recommendations in the form of a statewide plan
The ENDUI Oklahoma Advisory Committee consists of representatives from these groups:

- Oklahoma State University School of Forensic Sciences
- Oklahoma District Attorneys Council
- Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services
- Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation
- Oklahoma Highway Patrol
- Oklahoma Highway Safety Office
- Stop DUI Oklahoma
- Tulsa Police Department
- Oklahoma City Police Department
- Oklahoma State Department of Health
- Oklahoma Board of Tests for Alcohol and Drug Influence
- Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission
- Oklahoma State Judicial Educator
The committee may appoint other members as deemed necessary.
