Current projects and supplier needs

  • Sallisaw Veteran Home (175-bed facility): Replace/relocate nursing beds at Talihina, all wings. This portion of the proposed project is the replacement of all 175 beds by relocating the veterans home from Talihina to another location(s) in Sallisaw, Oklahoma – New construction project.
  • Ardmore Veteran Home (231-bed facility): Replace nursing beds at the Ardmore Veteran Center, all wings, plus 56 of Sulphur’s existing beds – New Construction project.
  • Sulphur Cognitive Care renovation: Construction/renovation of the current facility from 122 beds to 66 beds for cognitive care residents.
  • HVAC upgrades: Claremore, Clinton, Lawton, Norman and Sulphur. Upgrade or replace the HVAC systems to increase proper ventilation.
  • Emergency generator replacement and fuel tank increase: Upgrade the fuel tanks on the existing generators as per HB 2537 and replace end-of-life emergency generators.
  • Union Soldiers Cemetery restoration: Restore the existing cemetery to a national level by addressing all the deficiencies and adding parking, a columbarium and a committal shelter.
