- Oklahoma School for the Deaf (OSD) (PRJ0320318): We have spent the last nine months working with OMES, United Systems and Chickasaw Telcom to transition all technology support to fall under the OMES umbrella. The project included swapping out all the network switches on campus, standing up a new firewall solution, identifying bottlenecks in the network, and cleaning up some of the legacy cabling at the school. The project provides OSD with a deep level of support and will ensure we are always on the latest software/hardware/security platforms. It also keeps the agency in alignment with state standards.
- Client Kiosk Deployment (PRJ0320556): Development of a new client kiosk image and deployment of new machines statewide in our field offices. The newly deployed machines are for our clients to come into DRS offices and use for job searches, resume building, and sometimes even minor training efforts. Each machine is outfitted with the latest accessibility software so that we can accommodate a wide range of accessibility based needs for our clients.
- Network and VOiP Upgrades (PRJ0481646): OMES will no longer support phone systems, and DRS still has legacy systems in some field offices. We are upgrading the network circuits at these field offices to support more bandwidth and VOiP-based traffic. This will benefit our counselors and, by extension, our clients. Our counselors will have the latest features available for voice communication and tracking.
- PowerBI: DRS uses Tableau for data analytics, reporting, and custom dashboards. While this product is excellent, we are replicating those Tableau reports in PowerBI. We aim to replicate each current Tableau report into the PowerBI application. This would be a more cost-effective option for DRS moving forward and shows to be more accessible with specialized software such as JAWS, Dragon Naturally Speaking, and Fusion. DRS staff will benefit from the application integration opportunities that PowerBi provides by being in the Microsoft application stack. One additional byproduct of this effort would be the simplification of license management.
- SharePoint Migration: DRS is migrating its current 2013 SharePoint farm (iDRS) to the latest version of SharePoint through Microsoft's online offering. The project will allow DRS to access the feature-rich options within the latest version of SharePoint. This will also ensure that DRS is again always on the latest version moving forward so that we do not accumulate technology debt as we have in the past by hanging on to legacy applications that are no longer supported. This project will benefit all divisions of DRS.

- Finance (FIN) – AS400: Retirement of the AS400 will eliminate operational costs and reduce the number of legacy systems and reduce the number of legacy support developers required to maintain the AS400. Interfaces will be rebuilt within modern web applications to ensure ongoing successful finance functionality. Primarily payment solutions to/from individuals are needed for this.
- Child Welfare Services (CWS) – KIDS Replacement: Replacing an outdated legacy system with modern technology to drive efficiencies with functionality and ongoing support. A new Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) will automate the collection of high-quality case management data and promote analysis, distribution, and use by workers, supervisors, administrators, researchers and policymakers.
- Child Care Services – Restricted Registry: The Restricted Registry project will increase efficiency through new procedural guidelines for reporting; which will be reinforced through system requirements. Additionally, the search functionality will be streamlined, creating a backend for internal staff to track individuals and assist in easier reporting to various entities.
- DDS and AFS – Case Management Solutions: DDS and AFS will each be seeking new fully customized case management solutions through a solicitation in the future to replace outdated legacy systems with modern technology to drive efficiencies with functionality and ongoing support.
