Oklahoma Subject Area Assessments (OSATs)

Teachers seeking certification must pass a subject-area assessment to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in a specific field. OEQA has worked with the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson and groups of Oklahoma educators to develop and implement the OSATs for the Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Educators (CEOE™) testing program.

Testing Information

Get specific information about a test, including when and where you can take the test, on the CEOE™ website. Here, you will find registration links, policies, study resources, practice tests, and test frameworks for each test. Testing requirements depend on certification type. Examinees with documented physical, learning, or cognitive disabilities, or for whom English is not a primary language, may be eligible for alternative testing arrangements.

Preparation Materials

Free preparation materials are available for every test.

  • Test Preparation Videos: A general overview of test preparation and test-taking strategies help you prepare for your teacher certification test by describing how to use the study resources provided on the CEOE™ website.
  • Preparation Materials: Select a test from the dropdown list to access preparation materials by test or choose a product from the categories shown.

Receiving Your Scores

Your score report will be available in your account on the score report date for your test date. When you register, you may also request that your score report be emailed to you. Score reports are available for two years in your account.

Faculty Resources

The faculty resources section of the CEOE™ website offers tools, strategies, and support materials to help educator preparation faculty prepare candidates for their test.
